...who refers to himself in the third person
A review of The grocery list by Halifax
Introduction
A good introduction to the game and combat basics.
Cons
I would hate to be a spellcaster in this module, as they are excluded from all party activities right up to the end. They don't even get to practice the combat basics.
This seems only to be the plot hook and some basics, after reading the beginning of this, I was expecting this module to include the actual dungeon crawl.
Pros
This runs through the basics of combat for the new player and sets up the story hook for another module.
Conclusion
Great for a new non-spellcaster player. Spellcasters are left behind and forgotten until the end of the module.

Playability: Definitely playable, I wouldn't use it if I had spellcasters in my group though.

Originality: Nothing fancy. This is probably the first module I've seen designed for 0 level characters.

Style: Lots of visual detail in the descriptions of the locations involved.

Overall: Overall good job. I would have found some way to bring spellcasters in earlier though.
