A zellstone is a small and dense, semi-precious stone about the size of a human fist. Zellstones are capable of storing spells. A zellstone has a capacity of holding up to three levels of spells with minimum caster level. Example: The zellstone can hold one 3rd level spell (like fireball) or one 2nd level spell and one 1st level spell (such as invisibility and magic missile) or three 1st level spells (like three burning hands). A zellstone may store three levels of spell up to five times, after which the stone burns out and is forever useless and worthless. Zellstones are an unrefined mineral, and therefore may be used as soon as prospected from the earth. Zellstone does not hold a good edge, but may be used to create blunt weapons. Zellstone has the same hardness per inch as unworked stone.
