Effect: Shackles an enemy with pre-prepared metal bands and lifts them into the air.

This spell was created by wizards working alongside the Church of the Defender as a simple means of capturing specific humanoid individuals.
When cast the spell causes four prepared metal rings to appear, one around each wrist and ankle of the target. Once the bands are firmly in place they rise 10 feet into the air taking their captive with them. The bands are solid and automatically size themselves to the target, making Escape Artist checks useless and they are not attached to any physical device, preventing the use of a Strength check to break free. Each band has a hardness of 20 and 40 hitpoints while the spell is in effect. Dispel Magic will end the magic on them returning them to their original size and dropping the captive, the bands will be returned to the caster. If the bands are destroyed the captive is also set loose. A floating captive loses their Dexterity bonus to defense and is not capable of freely moving their limbs. This spell may only target humanoids.
A target may be moved through the air by magical means (such as Telekinesis), however the manacles resist such motion. Any attempt to move the prisoner results in an opposed caster level check. If the opposing caster wins then the prisoner may be moved. Otherwise the manacles will hold in place. The caster of manacles does not need to make this check to move the prisoner.
Focus: 4 masterwork metal bands. These bands are resized and used to capture the target. They are not available to the caster while the spell is in effect.
